But the real intrigue and the possibility of a challenge to their status lies further down Forbess list of the top 10. In the 8th spot, just behind Rihanna and just ahead of Celine Dion, and Britney Spears, is Helene Fischer. Who? A German-Russian star who is remarkably tight-lipped and tries to keep her appeal as being a "normal person". Fischer gives the genre a synth-pop, aggressive update in line with her German Taylor Swift. Swifts pop-evolution has made her cool. But it's hard to quantify how much the critics love Fischers flat out horrible music.

Claudia Wells (born in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia) was raised in San Francisco CA. Wells was famous for starring in the 1985 film Back to the Future as Jennifer Parker Marty McFly's girlfriend. Wells played a part in Stop the Madness, a music video against drugs sponsored by the Reagan Administration that featured famous actors, musicians and sports stars. The following year, she appeared on television in the show Babies Having Babies. The program Fast Times was a TV adaptation of Fast Times at Ridgemont High. Claudia put off her acting career despite her great success in the industry of entertainment. Her mother was later diagnosed with cancer. That tragic experience spurred her toward taking an active role in charities the most recent of which is called KidsInTheSpotlight.org. Claudia Wells holds an impressive 50 credits across television, film and theater. She believes that her real career on screen is in the future.
